Now it seems that InFuse is consistently brighter while Optimus frequently matches VLC, with dark portions of frames being too dark. While Optimus displayed HDR well and notably brighter in prior tests, that isn't always the case. I have continued experimenting with players, watching the same videos synchronized. This might seem too much of a hassle to deal with when you only want to relax and watch a good movie, but I'm willing to help you if you want.
Those must be converted to text based tx3g format, and Subler uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to do that, which isn't ideal since there could be errors in the resulting subtitles. It also seems you have PGS subtitles in your file, which I suspect to be a bluray remux? PGS subtitles are also not compatible with mp4. If you PM me the name of the release you're trying to play I might be able to know more about it. In that case, what I would do is discard the TrueHD track and keep the AC3 one as passthrough. AFAIK, TrueHD tracks usually have an AC3 fallback track in case the BluRay player or the sound system aren't compatible with the format, and I suspect the second audio track on the list (third one counting the video track) you sent might be it.

Dolby TrueHD is a lossless codec and since Subler can't pass it through to the mp4 Container it has to transcode it into something else, and transcoding means loss of quality.
